When driving through the capital the adrenalin started to pumping through my system. Got to 9:30 fun place for a show. There was a good turn out. Georgine was able to get the night off and enjoy the band she works for. Her sister also joined the festivities. She was a very beautiful 35 year-old who talked so much I thought she was going to lose her voice. My southern friend wanted to pour bourbon down her mouth hole and get on with the show. Finally the show began and I was never so happy to see Sims take the stage w/ his beer.
For the wait was a long one. The opening was powerful and the crowd showed a lot of energy. It wouldn't be long for David to get out into the crowd. If I remember correctly after the 3rd song he proceeded out into the crowd were he was floated by his supporters to the bar were David pushed the tap forward and started filling up a cup with a cold beverage. He didn't stop with one but kept on pouring more beer out and giving it to people in the crowd. This night the Lizard was on, the sound in the 9:30 was clean. Jim, Sims, and Duane kept the mood and added their little something special you only get at a live show. Afterward I stuck around to show my gratitude for their excellent performance with a Kind Hometown Phillie. Jim was much obliged.
