Review

well, the first thing i saw when i walked in the door was mr. kimball getting thrown out by four huge bouncers. it was an all ages show and you could only have alcohol upstairs and in the dressing room- but for some reason he thought those rules didn't apply to him. the bouncer said "i've told you four times not to bring that out here", and then jim threw the beer on the floor/him- but for the record his arm was grabbed and the beer spilled- and he said "fuck you i'm in the band" and they picked him up and tossed him out the door as he was kicking and screaming "fuck you i'm the drummer for the jesus lizard!!!!!". then a few minutes later they all stormed back through and went into the dressing room where they must have made peace cos everything was ok after that. it was funny though...

the set was good- no setlist but it had all the staples. the crowd was weird hippie/surfer/punk. a ton of stage diving- one of the first was a woman who seemed to REALLY like yow- they embraced as he stuck his hands down her pants- the back...dws and duane got sick of the stage diving real fast and both of them pulled some tough guy moves....but it didn't help all that much.

*there was a guy from the movie slacker there...it was funny cos i've seen that movie a few times and i recognized him and asked him if he was in it.
